Old Year, New Year

2014 has come to its close, and with it John's 75th anniversary of birth.

We can look back with much pleasure and gratitude on all the performances which have taken place, and all the kindness and commitment which has been shown by so many people to John and his music. He has been supported in so many different ways – performers, commissioners, writers, academic institutions, choirs, orchestras and conductors, music clubs and festivals, critics and record companies, and not least of all by our own website manager and accountant, who have gone out of their way to help. Despite the difficulties of our situation we have had a rewarding year, with many happy moments. For this we thank you all. So many friends are involved that it would be invidious to pick out a few names, but we remember your kindness and are deeply grateful.
